First-Aid Kit Update: Naxalone for Overdose Prevention

The Pad Climbing health and safety

We’re excited to share an important update regarding safety at The Pad Climbing!

As part of our ongoing commitment to the well-being of our community, we’ve recently added naloxone to our first aid kit. Naloxone, also known as Narcan, is a life-saving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses.

Your safety is our top priority, and this addition ensures that we are equipped to respond swiftly and effectively in case of emergencies. We hope this proactive step provides peace of mind to our climbers and underscores our dedication to a safe and inclusive climbing experience for all.

Kits are located near the AED devices in both our San Luis Obispo and Henderson gyms, and coming soon to The BoardRoom in Santa Barbara.
