We’re officially planting our roots in Binghamton, and the excitement is real! Kristin and Yishai, the duo behind The Pad, have packed up their lives, kiddos in tow, and made the cross-country leap from California to call Binghamton their new home. They’re already diving headfirst into the local scene, exploring everything from quaint coffee shops to epic hiking trails. When not unpacking and getting to know their new community, they’re also overseeing the transformation of the new location.
The Before (Just Wait for the After!)
The new space is raw right now, but that’s how we like it—because we know the potential it holds. We’re talking exposed beams, giant ceilings, and endless room for climbing walls. We also have a thing for roll up doors. We have big plans for the space, and we can’t wait to reveal the climbing oasis that’s about to take shape. Trust us, Binghamton is about to become a hotspot for all things climbing!
We’re shooting for a late 2024 opening. Want to see where in the world our walls are? Hint: they’re sailing the high seas.
Presale is Coming!
We know you’re all itching to get in on the action, and here’s the good news: the presale is dropping soon! Keep your eyes peeled for updates because we’ll be rolling out some sweet deals for those ready to claim their spot in our brand-new gym before the doors even roll up. Whether you’re a seasoned climber or just starting, we’ve got something special in store for you and have made it easy to become part of #thepadfam.
Why Binghamton?
So why Binghamton, you ask? This city is packed with potential, just like our gym-to-be. The Pad has always been about creating spaces where people feel at home, and Binghamton’s vibrant community, rich history, and down-to-earth vibe felt like the perfect match.
Stay tuned for more updates, sneak peeks, and behind-the-scenes looks as we continue to make progress on the build. The journey has just begun, and we can’t wait for you all to be a part of it. Ready to chalk up and send in Binghamton? We know we are!
